The HP Envy m6-w105dx is a well-equipped 2-in-1 15.6-inch laptop with a 360-degree hinge, and one of the first notebook models with Intel’s 6th Generation Skylake processor.

The m6-w105dx, as same as the whole HP Envy x360 series it belongs to, is generally a premium-level notebook with a sleek chassis shape, brushed aluminum on the palmrests and lid, and keyboard backlight. In addition to Full HD resolution, the multi-touch display features IPS technology to expand viewing angles to maximum. The included Skylake CPU is the Core i7-6500U, which is a mid-range chip. It performs similar to the previous-gen i7-6500U, but has a better power efficiency and adds more robust multimedia feature set. The integrated Intel HD 520 graphics is slightly faster than the older HD 5500, but still satisfactory only for basic-level gaming. The HP Envy m6-w105dx has 8GB of system memory and a 1-Terabyte hard drive, both double the size of the average 4GB / 500GB capacities.

A DVD burner is missing on this model. The rest of the feature set is admirable. There’s a stereo speaker system optimized by Bang & Olufsen, a 720p web camera, 802.11AC Wi-Fi wireless, Gigabit LAN connection, Bluetooth interface, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports, a multi-format media card reader, HDMI video jack, and a combo audio headphones / microphone audio connector.

The battery has a medium-class capacity of 48 WHr, but we have no info on battery life.

HP’s Envy x360 m6-w105dx weighs in at 5.1 pound and is 0.9″ thick.
