HP ProBook 650 G1 (Configurable)

Discontinued

Description

The HP ProBook 650 G1 is a mainstream 15.6-inch business notebook PC model with advanced business-specific features such as Intel vPro enterprise-class system management technology, fingerprint reader, docking connector, anti-glare display coating, and Pro edition of Windows 7 or Windows 8. The laptop has the latest Intel Haswell Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, with full voltages and thus full-blown performance as opposed to the low-voltage chips, up to 1-Terabyte hard drive, optional solid state drive with up to 256GB of capacity, up to 16GB of RAM, and a DVD writer or Blu-ray combo drive. Optionally, you can configure the ProBook 650 G1 with a dedicated AMD Radeon video card instead of the Intel HD 4600 integrated GPU for improved graphics performance. The display is either 1920×1080 Full HD or 1366×768-pixel. The keyboard has a dedicated numeric pad and is spill-resistant. Depending on customer’s choice, the notebook can have a navigational stick in the center of the keyboard, alongside the classic trackpad.

The HP 650 has a chassis made of plastics. It’s metal-like colored on the keyboard deck, in contrast against the black keyboard, while the screen lid is a soft-touch dark gray surface.

The laptop has all the relevant ports except HDMI which is replaced by DisplayPort, and as an extra there’s the old Serial connector for legacy printers and other old hardware. 4G mobile broadband is optional, while Wi-Fi, Bluetoth, and Gigabit Ethernet LAN are standard.

There are also a built-in webcam and stereo speakers.
